Recent developments within bathroom design have taken it to a whole new level with these wacky yet wonderful creations.
Within the Muslim community, prayer is essential in everyday life. Muslims pray up to 5 times a day, to express gratitude, ask for forgiveness and to strengthen belief in God. But the ritual before prayer is conducted is equally as important.
Washing of the face, hands, arms and feet must be carried out before prayer, and this can be challenging with a simple washbasin. Azmi invented the “Wash Basin With Foot Washing Facility” to assist in daily necessities such as this.
Similar to the concept of the Dyson wash-and-dry Airblade, as hands are being cleaned, one’s feet are inserted into a lower compartment in the basin and jets of water followed by air blowers do the business.
Roger Kerr’s Toilet Roll Dispenser
For people who could be commonly described as having Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, or for those who are simply repulsed when touching toilet roll in a public cubicle, this invention may get you excited.
Mr. Kerr sought that the average cleanliness of lavatory paper was unsatisfactory and has applied for a patent in a new type of dispenser.
The design sprays a sanitising liquid automatically onto each individual sheet of the paper, as one yanks from the roll. There is also the absurd yet intriguing proposal of a heating element, so the sanitizer is more user-friendly and a system which can deodorise it too.
