If you have a flooded bathroom and need a new one we can help, we can also ensure no flooding happens again but sometimes people flood their own bathrooms! Wanting a new bathroom is something we all dream of, but in Norway, two men took it upon themselves to purposefully flood their bathroom in a possible attempt to claiming money from their insurers. A camera is placed inside the bathroom, on the top floor of the house and records the destruction entirely.
In the video, a high-powered hose is visually seen entering the top floor of the building, into the bathroom from a gap in the wall. Suddenly, at high-speed, a gush of water pours from the hose and onto the bathroom floor. Within milliseconds the bathtub is whipped apart and the floor completely covered.
The high-pressure from the water eventually causes the floor to collapse and another camera from the living room below reveals the seeping liquid beginning to pour onto furniture and electrical appliances.
The two unidentified men are shown holding their thumbs up, as though victorious for their efforts and laughing as water can be seen leaking through the windows. Within a seeming flash, the entire ceiling collapses and a flood of water escapes into the living room, destroying all within its path.
There are some rumours that the two men may have set this up to claim on their insurance, however, at Essex Bathrooms, we think this is more an example to what could happen if a leaking bathroom is left untreated.
